Frozen

After the tremendously long winter we have had, Frozen is a huge hit! From toddlers to elders, many people are loving this cute, funny, animated film. This movie is taken place in the kingdom of Arendelle. Princess Elsa has a mystical power of being able to create snow, ice and has the ability to freeze. As a young girl, Elsa accidently freezes her younger sister Anna almost killing her. With the help of trolls, Anna's life is saved and she forgets Elsa's power. After the death of their parents and the thought of hurting Anna again, Elsa moves to the castle. Anna sets off on an epic journey partnering with a mountain man named Kristoff and his reindeer Sven, to find her sister Elsa. Elsa's powers have gone erratic and she has trapped the kingdom in an extremely icy, eternal winter. While on their journey Kristoff, Anna, and Sven encounter a hilarious, plump, snowman named Olaf who joins them as they tackle the search for Elsa. These four hilarious characters try their best to save the kingdom, running into obstacles throughout the adventure.

Frozen is a great movie that really shows how teamwork, family and determination are important in striving for success. It is great to see that Disney is still making animated movies when it seems that the majority of movies feature real people. I really enjoyed this movie! I am 19 years old and will never be too old to watch an animated Disney movie. It is a reminder that no one is ever too old to use their imagination. I strongly recommend this movie if you have not seen it yet!

  1. I love the movie Frozen! I think its story line is fantastic and it also has a awesome sound track. I also think it teaches many valuable lessons to a younger audience, especially young girls. It seems that almost all other Disney movies have the main female character being saved by a prince. I like Frozen because it shows young girls that you don’t need a man in your life to save you or take care of you. I also like Frozen because it teaches people of all ages that your family is always there for you, even when you think they are not!

  2. I also love this movie, I tend to catch myself singing along to the songs in the movie! This movie is great for everyone. Some kids movies are strictly made for kids to watch and they can get boring to adults, but not this one. I found myself entertained though out the movie, laughing along and i'm 19. I love how an act of true love can be with a family member instead of with the guy of your dreams. It shows us that family will always be there, help you with your problems, and that family will always accept you. I have three nieces, they love this movie too, this is another topic we can talk about and love together.

  3. This movie seems really cute! I have yet to watch it but from what I have heard it teaches many lessons and shows that you dont need a man in your life to succeed. I have heard many songs from this movie as well, all that seem to stick in my head. One of the main lines to a song I believe is "do you want to build a snowman" which is what I have been hearing non stop. The first time I heard about this movie I automatically thought it was only for little kids, but after hearing about the lessons taught and that the movie was really good in general, it makes me want to watch it so I can get the full understanding of why it is so good and everyone loves it.

  4. Frozen is by far one of my favorite movies! I am in love with everything about it! The movie itself has such an awesome story line. I love that the movie says that a girl doesn't need to be saved by a prince charming. In one of my classes we discussed the movie, my teacher explained that some mothers from a christian church banned their children from seeing the movie due to a "gay character" in the movie. The mothers believed that the man that owns the small store where Anna goes to buy a new dress at is a homosexual. This caused a lot of people to talk. No one knows for sure if he is supposed to be a homosexual male. I thought that was very interesting! Everything about the movie is perfect in my eyes!
